The Board of Directors of the Niagara Foundation is pleased to announced that the 2009 Recipient of the Foundation's Living Landmark Award was JOHN G. WALKER.

Walker was honoured at a sold-out black tie dinner at Navy Hall on Thursday, November 12, 2009 where we celebrated John and his commitment to Niagara. John's further generosity to heritage preservation was demonstrated once again when he announced that evening that he was making a donation of $50,000 towards the special projects being undertaken by the Niagara Foundation.

All proceeds from the evening are being used to benefit further restoration of the Fog Horn House, an original Niagara Foundation Restoration Project.
